The 4th International Muslim Leaders' Consultation on HIV/AIDS (IMLC)

Theme :

Enhancing inter-religious cooperation to increase quality religiosity and its use by individuals, families and communities to fast-track the response for Prevention, Treatment, Care, Support and Control of HIV/AIDS and HIV-risk addictions.

Our Goal

To contribute to the Fast-Track strategy of ending the AIDS epidemic as a public health threat by 2030.

General Objective

To identify and document what FIMA and its partners will do differently and follow up as priorities to enhance interreligious cooperation and to increase quality religiosity and its use, by individuals and communities, to fast-track the response for Prevention, Treatment, Care, Support and Control of HIV/AIDS and HIV-risk addictions.

Purpose

To bring FIMA leaders, religious leaders, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) leaders, Government leaders, and leaders in academia and science together, in a coordinated way, as a“Think tank” to share experiences, discuss contemporary issues and develop an action plan regarding enhancing interreligious cooperation to increase quality religiosity and its use, by individuals and communities, to fast-track the response for Prevention, Treatment, Care, Support and Control of HIV/AIDS and HIV-risk addictions. The intention is to get the best ideas out of the brains of the FIMA Family and their partners on the theme, mainly through brainstorming and encourage them to make use of the outcome in practice and follow it up to achieve the goal.
